  • wonder if the media's ardent support of Obama is going to backfire one day when he becomes president?
Ive been around the world the last few weeks and talking to people in person - they dont like GWB much. They voice opinions such as because of the war, America has lost its prestige.. All that said, reading papers in the Middle East, its also easy to see the blatent spin cycle put out extolling their governments or biased articles against Israel n such. Seeing certain aspects of life on the street in other countries, you thank God for the rights and freedoms we have here. On the flight back from Houston to Dallas, I didnt talk much to the people next to me. .but when we were about to get off I noticed the title of the book he was reading. Well that started up a discussion with a few of the people around us. He was a life long republican from Texas and even he's decided we need change. Me, I'm like who gives, whatever.. Vote Obama, my trust isn't in him. I think after following politics for a few years now, I dont really give a crap anymore. Its more interesting to deal with people, learn perspectives and such.. while keeping your own morality and sense of being intact.

I know what you mean. I really do. But be careful.

If you are honestly grateful to God for the rights and freedoms you have, then ask for His discernment in selecting the persons He would have represent us.

When our nation used to do this regularly, we rose to a position of wealth, power and strength that the world had never seen before. Since we have stopped doing it, people view us as you saw in your travels.

Don't let Satan use his tool of apathy against the system of Godly government that protects your rights and freedoms. Turn your vote over to the one (whomever that may be) that God tells you is His annointed.
